Confirmation of Eligibility

Before proceeding, please confirm the following:

  • you are able to demonstrate alignment between your project and the aims of this program
  • your organisation is a not-for-profit organisation (includes educational institutions such as schools and kindergartens)
  • your organisation is located in New Plymouth District (check here)
  • your project doesn't duplicate existing Council services or funding schemes 
  • your project does not undermine climate goals (e.g. to reduce emissions, and build resilience)
  • if applicable; quotes can be provided for relevant components, including comparison pricing for fossil fuel replacements (note this fund will only fund the gap between direct replacement and efficient electric alternatives)
  • if applicable; your emergency preparedness project has Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Council.
  • your project fits the specified timeframe with outcomes achieved within 12 months.
  • You understand that if successful you are committed to reporting progress to NPDC (refer Reporting page for more information)
